Saona Catamaran & Sunset Sail

Overview

This is the classic Dominican day on the water done properly: a capped guest count, a captain who has run this channel for fifteen years, and a return leg timed so you're crossing the Caribbean as the light turns. Lunch is cooked on the beach, not reheated on the boat.

Itinerary

1. 8:00 AM

   Hotel pickup

   Air-conditioned transfer from Punta Cana and Bávaro hotels.

2. 9:30 AM

   Set sail from Bayahíbe

   Safety briefing in English and Spanish, then out through the national park.

3. 11:00 AM

   Natural pool

   Waist-deep sandbar stop with starfish, snorkel gear on board.

4. 12:30 PM

   Beach lunch on Saona

   Grilled fish, chicken, rice and beans, tropical fruit.

5. 3:30 PM

   Sunset sail home

   Open bar, live merengue on deck, arrival back at the marina by dusk.
